NOTE: This collection of files for an implementation of the well-known
arc utility for VAX VMS is incomplete.  The .uue files have VAX VMS
executables, but the source code is incomplete, sinc the *.shar* files
are missing parts 1, 2, and 16.  I have not yet been able to track
down definitive sources, despite searching 187 ftp sites, and asking
the archie server at quiche.cs.mcgill.ca.  Several sites have the .exe
files, but nowhere can I find complete source code.  The address of
the original submitted in the *.shar* files is no longer recognized.

If you know where to find sources (but probably don't, since you're
looking here), please tell me.
